The pitty in photo #16 is one our rescue brought in from New Orleans on the 16th of October. Missy was found inside a home where she had been tied to a doorknob on 2 seperate leashes. She had no food or water and was so tangled up she was pressed against the door which is probably what kept her alive for 41 days with nothing. Missy weighs 25 pounds and is heartworm+ and will have a long road to recovery.
Thanks for keeping these animals in the view of the public who needs to remember there are still animals alive that need help!

I believe the finches in photos 10 and 15 belonged to the same flock I am trying to find the owner for. There were about 50 survivors in the flock I worked with, but the address that came with them is wrong. The photos say they came from PETA. Do you know how to find out who took those photos? Maybe they know the correct address. Julie Burge BurgeBirdServ@cs.com

These poor animals have seen things that no creature should have to go thru. Their haunting eyes want to tell us....
Thank you for keeping them in the public eye, and Thank you to those that rescue and care for them.
why people tie their animals in this kind of situation is beyond me
