The pictures i have seen here only remind me of MY commitment to my 5 beautiful big dogs all sleeping around my feet as i type this. Everyone needs to see what is and has happened, or else people across the country will never know the horrors outside of their own little world. I cry everytime there is a new posting....and i hug all of my furry best friends and tell them that i for one would never leave them alone in times of a natural disaster...we don't get hurricanes here....but enough tornadoes to have a master escape plan....it consists only of safe places that ALL my animals and i can fit into. I would prefer to die with my pets in my arms while having tried to comfort and save them-then to have them die alone! I highly respect the rescue people who have given their time and emotional energy in such a distressing and devastating situation. I also thank the person/persons who puts the time and effort into this blog. Thank you from a small town in MN!
