First, thank you Matt for your work. I'm sure that your blog has opened many peoples' eyes to the plight of the Katrina animals.
Does anyone know the fate of the cat in the first picture? While I have found many of the pictures haunting and upsetting, there is something about this poor cat that has just got to me beyond how any of the other pictures have.
While I'm not in a position to foster/adopt the cat myself (I wish I was), I will be seeing someone on the weekend who would make an excellent foster/adopter. I plan to show him the picture.
Also, if anyone knows of any Katrina cats that have made their way to southern Ontario, please let me know. There have been dogs made their way up here, but I haven't heard of any cats. If that cat has been cared for, I'll make him aware of any Katrina cats in the area.
Muttshack.org rescued the kitty at the top of this post - I couldn't find a general mailbox, or contact email addy on their site. If you were to join their forum(free)you could state your interest in this cat, and see if he/she is available for fostering/adoption.

You could try alleycat.org for information about cats sent to Canada - I don't know of any specific cases myself. *
