Can you post a link to that info for me, please.
The last I heard, Tom Fox THOUGHT he had found 'Oily Dog' a second time - it turned out to be an entirely different dog - the colour white, being the only similarity between the two.
That would be awesome if 'Oily Dog' has REALLY been rescued. Let me know.

I guess I was overly optimistic. Drat! It looks like Tom Fox shot these 2 shots moments apart. I guess this means that this small dog was passed by and left to fend for itself.

I really am haunted by the Oily Dog, as are so many others I imagine.

Fingers crossed that SOMEHOW this dog is found.
Are you sure that that is not Oily Dog? Did Fox take the dog to a shelter and if so, which one?

To the best of my knowledge, Oily Dog has not been found. The picture above is Oily Dog also - photographed shortly before/after the original shot.
